The custom design process is an exciting and hands-on process for couples looking for bespoke invitation design. Every step of the way is approved by the client and edited to perfection--from sketch to painting to the final product. The only way to get exactly what you want for your big day is to create your dream invitation suite with Kelly Kristin Design!
meet and brainstorm
The first step of the design process is where you tell us everything about YOU. We'll cover colors & fonts you like, inspiration and of course your love story!
sketch and create
Step two is when we start to get creative! We'll start sketching ideas and plan out the design. It's a hands-on, fun process that involves client approval till we get it just right!
paint and edit
Step three is when the invitations come to life! We paint and bring color to our ideas. Once the paintings are perfect, we'll add text and all the final details.
finalize and print
All that's left to do now is double-check that you absolutely LOVE your invitations, address, seal and get them in the mail!!

How long is the custom invitation process?
-- From the time we start designing, expect to have invitations in hand in 6-8 weeks.

How much do custom invitations cost?
--The custom design fee starts at $400 plus printing, calligraphy, and all the details that make your invitations a keepsake to cherish forever. Most of our clients spend $1,000 - $3,500 depending on the invitation package and number of guests.
Do I need to pay up front?
-- Clients pay a 50% deposit up front and the remaining 50% once the final invitations are shipped.

How does the editing process work?
-- This is YOUR day and we want your invitations to be everything you’ve ever dreamed of and absolutely perfect. Three rounds of revisions/skype meetings are included in the prices. Contact us with any and all questions throughout the process.

What if I'm not sure what I want or if I want custom invitations?
-- Hop on a complimentary call with us and we'll go over all the details! You can get a feel for our style, process and decide if custom invitations are the right fit for you. Remember, it's YOUR day and we're just here to help you celebrate!
